Clydesdale Buy to Let Mortgage Requirements

Clydesdale Bank currently holds the following requirements for their Buy to Let mortgages: 

  • At least one of the applicants must have an income of £30,000 pa which does not include rental income 
  • If the applicant has more than four buy to let properties, they must have an income of at least £75,000 pa
  • Professional landlords are unable to secure this loan - applicants can a maximim of 8 rental properties
  • Cannot be used for HMO properties 
  • Will not accept applicants with poor credit history
