What is Masthaven bridging finance?

Masthaven bridging finance is designed to offer a short term borrowing solution when you experience a temporary gap in funding. They offer several different types of bridging loans to borrowers in England, Wales and Scotland, more details of which can be found below.

 

Types of Masthaven bridging loan

Masthaven offer four main types of bridging loans. Which may be appropriate for you is likely to depend on your borrowing needs and personal circumstances.

First charge bridging loans – Secured against a property which does not already have any borrowing secured against it. Borrow from £100,000 to £5,000,000 with a maximum LTV 70% (including interest rolled up).

Second charge bridging loans – Secured against a property where which already has a loan, such as mortgage, secured against it. Borrow from £100,000 to £1,000,000 up to a maximum LTV of 65% (including rolled up interest).

First and second charge bridging loans – Usually secured as a first charge on the property the loan is being used to buy and a second charge on an additional property to allow you to borrow more or get a better interest rate. Borrow from £100,000 to £1,000,000 as a first charge or up to £250,000 as a second charge. Maximum LTV of 60% first charge or 50% second charge.

Renovation and refurbishment bridging loans – Used for property which is not in a mortgageable state. Borrow from £100,000-£2,000,000 as a first charge or £100,000-£500,000 as a second charge. Maximum LTV is 65% for a first Charge or 60% for a second Charge.
