Virgin Buy to Let Mortgages

Before applying for a buy to let mortgage with Virgin, you'll need to know what their criteria for lending is. 

This includes: 

  • A ceiling of 75% LTV - so you'll need a 25% deposit
  • A maximum mortgage term of 25 years
  • Not available to first time buyers 
  • You need to have owned a residential property for at least six months prior to applying for a BTL mortgage
  • You need an annual income of £25,000 + 
  • This has to be outside of your rental income
  • You'll need to show rental income will cover 145% of monthly mortgage repayments
  • You'll need to be aged 25 or above
  • The limit for Joint BTL mortgage applications is four people
