SPV Buy to Let Mortgages

A SPV a non-trading limited company for the purpose of buying, selling and letting out property to tenants may wish to apply for a buy to let mortgage; there are specific regulations which might apply here, so it's important to do your research first.

There are some tax considerations which you'll need to know before you set one of these up - specifically, capital gains tax.

You can set one up online or via an accountant.

In order to get a BTL mortgage for an SPV you'll need:

  • To have all of your buy to let properties sold at market rate
  • Your income will be scrutinised by a stress test
  • You'll need to prove your rent will cover 145% of your mortgage repayment costs

Call our buy to let team on  0203 900 4322 to discuss your requirements.
