HSBC Business Loans
HSBC has various secured and unsecured business loan options that can provide substantial finance with competitive Annual Percentage Rates.
Flexible Business Loan
HSBC offer a basic business loan called the Flexible Business Loan that can allow you to borrow from £25,000 on fixed or variable interest over 12 months to 20 years without the need for a current account.
In addition, the Flexible Business Loan allows for an introductory interest-only agreement. This means that for the first 24 months, you can pay only the interest on the loan to enable your business to build capital. HSBC also give the option to defer up to two monthly loan repayments per year. So if you experience cashflow issues, you may be able to defer a loan payment to allow your business some financial breathing room.
Equipment and Asset Finance Loan
The Equipment and Asset Finance Loan allows you to access the funding you need to purchase new equipment, IT software, stock and even vehicles. This may allow you to invest in new assets without spending most of your business’ capital.
Also, if you borrow more than £250,000 once, your business can benefit from interest rate increases.
To qualify for this loan, you must be an HSBC customer and borrow a minimum of £100,000.
Business Growth Fund Loan
The Business Growth Fund Loan provides finance from £2 million to £10 million with a fixed rate of interest, which is determined individually.
HSBC’s Fixed and Variable Rate
The Bank of England’s base rate heavily determines HSBC's variable rate. The fixed rate can be agreed upon upon application and stays locked in for up to 10 years.
